Change the temperature display on the Smart Thermostat to Celsius or Fahrenheit

The Alarm.com Smart Thermostat (Smart Thermostat HD, ADC-T2000, and ADC-T3000) displays temperature based on the system's account settings.

Note: Changing the display unit on the Smart Thermostat using the Alarm.com app or Alarm.com customer website will also change the temperature unit displayed on the Alarm.com app and Alarm.com customer website.

Change the display unit on the Smart Thermostat

To change the display unit on the Smart Thermostat using the Alarm.com app:icn-chevron-up.svg
  1. Log into the Alarm.com app.
  2. Tap Menu.
  3. Tap Account Management.
  4. Tap System Information.
  5. Using the Temperature Units dropdown menu, select the desired temperature display unit.
  6. Tap Update. Allow a few minutes for the temperature unit displayed on the thermostat to adjust.

  1. Log into the Alarm.com customer website.
  2. Click Settings.
  3. Click Account Management.
  4. Click System Information.
  5. Using the Temperature Units dropdown menu, select the desired temperature display unit.
  6. Click Update. Allow a few minutes for the temperature unit displayed on the thermostat to adjust.

Important: This option is only available for the Smart Thermostat HD and ADC-T3000. To change the temperature display on the ADC-T2000, see the steps above.

To change the display unit on the Smart Thermostat HD:
  1. Tap the thermostat screen.
  2. Tap Menu.
  3. In Menu, tap User Settings.
  4. In User Settings, tap Temperature Units.
  5. Select the desired temperature units and tap Save.
To change the display unit on the ADC-T3000:
  1. Press the Minus button on the ADC-T3000.
  2. Select SETTINGS.
  3. Select USER.
  4. Select F/C.
  5. Select F or C.
